Yesterday, the Film Intensive program had a field trip to the Dolby Theater on Hollywood Boulevard. The students followed a guided tour through the lounge where there was a real Oscar on display, and they learned about how an Oscar is made. They followed the guide through the hallways that had photos of previous Oscar recipients displayed on the walls. The students were able to sit inside the actual Dolby Theater where the attendees of the Oscars sit every year.
