American Career College – Session 2

The HEAL program had another field trip today to American Career College where they got to learn what it would be like to be assistants for numerous different medical fields!

The HEAL program took a trip to the California Science Center today! This museum was full of awesome exhibits that the students got to participate in!

The HEAL program had a full day of Suturing, Neurosurgery Simulation, and Clinical Diagnostics today! The students learned more with Dr. P and got to be doctors for their TAs!

The HEAL program welcomed Dr. Cadet today for another guest speaker session! She talked with the students about the different facets of health care and medicine that the students can study as well as talking about diversity and equity within the healthcare field!

American Career College – Simulation Center

The Medicine & Health Care program had an awesome field trip to American Career College today! The students got a full tour of the campus and participated in multiple medical simulations! The simulations included being a nurse, a pharmacist tech, and a dental, surgical, medical, and optician’s assistant! Huge thank you to Gohar Abrahamian for coordinating this special trip for us!
